In October 2007, Louis von Adelsheim took the escalating political situation in South Africa as a point of departure for an installation at a house in Adelsheim: A house on a busy road was painted with transversal bars in black and white. Flames pour out of the windows, and the clock is ticking… While the international community refuses to engage in any dialogue with Mugabe, Chancellor Angela Merkel talks to Mugabe at least virtually. Time is running out for another dictator too: Gadhafi.
